Oakdale School Committee
Purpose: Provide programs of living history in Oakdale School for the students in the area as well as Goose Creek children, research the history of Oakdale and its students.
Frequency of Meetings: As needed; more frequently in fall and spring.
Activities: Open doors for public schools/home schoolers in the fall and spring. Students take on the roles of actual students who attended in 1818. The school day is held in the manner of 1818. A trunk with authentic tools and objects from that era is also part of the program.
Interaction with other committees: Property Committee to renovate and up keep of building.
Outreach: Schools and home schools in the area.
