Camping Committee

Purpose: To support and enhance awareness of the Baltimore Yearly Meeting Camping Program and its benefits to Quaker youth and families.

Frequency of meetings: As Needed

Activities: Track attendance of childrem from Goose Creek Friends Meeting who attend camp and facilitate financial support from GCFM for them. Fund raising to support these efforts and for general needs of BYM Camp. Promote awareness and support of BYM Camps.

Interaction with other committees: We are widely supported by other committees during our fundraising.

Outreach: We offer camper support to any children of attenders, not just members of GCFM. The camps are a primary vehicle through which our kids learn Quakerism.
